With the frigid arctic air moving through the country we can only anticipate the coming of spring with more fervour! We have recently returned from our show in New York. It was a successful show and we were glad to find the buyers upbeat and optomistic. Our best selling items at the show were the Marla Top C3122 with the Marla Pant C2026, the Lee Jacket C5064, Resort Pant C2288, Pauline Skirt J6630, Resort Tunic C3063 and of course our Quilt Vest G4408 and the tee shirts.
The top selling colors this spring season are: cactus flower, sprout, nautical blue, cobblestone, capri.

We are always looking for ways to help our retail customers market and promote their products. We ran across an interesting article giving details of a software program by Intuit that helps small boutique owners set up an online store.
Our chief designer, Daphne O’Donnell, recently had the opportunity and privilege to participate in a product development and buying trip to Senegal and Mali. While there she met with local textile manufactures and craftsmen. The fabrics, dyes, buttons were so colorful and vibrant and the people were incredibily friendly and helpful. She hopes to incorporate some of these textiles into her designs for Spring 2010. We will keep you posted with the progress of our new exciting designs!
